EU projects

In our activities, we are guided by the international sustainability standards and looking for the ways to leave as little footprint as possible. One of them is introduction of the renewable energy sources (RES). Having started with the 199.92 kW solar power plant with the solar panels mounted on the roof of the factory, today we continue working in and developing this direction – a new 120 kW solar power plant will be installed. Hustal UAB carried out an audit of power consumption and plans to install the power plant according to the audit recommendations, as this will allow the company to use the generated power for the internal needs and reduce consumption of traditional energy.
The project will contribute to increasing the share of renewable energy sources in the final power consumption at the countrywide level, as well as mitigating the impact of the company on the climate change, solving the problem of air pollution, efficient use of resources, and reducing dependence of Lithuania on energy import.

By introducing the AEI, namely, a solar power plant, we expect:
–  to move towards sustainable economic development based on scientific knowledge, the most advanced technologies and innovations, and to increase the international competitiveness of your business;
–  to contribute to the goal of the National Progress Plan – to reorient the industry towards a climate-neutral economy.

The project is implemented using the funds of the measure No. 05-001-01-04-02 Encouraging Enterprises (Central and Western Lithuania Region) to Move towards a Climate-Neutral Economy that partially supported by the European Union. This project is being implemented with the assistance of Inovacijų agentūra Všį.
